Here's the deal.  After working in Reality TV for over 15 years and shooting alongside many a hand-held operator I've come to the conclusion that reels for reality operators don't mean a thing.

If you're looking for someone to DP your next feature film you've come to the wrong place.  But if you're looking for someone who knows how to follow story (have the instincts to know when dialogue is important and when to get cut-aways), listen, follow the action (and the reactions), shoot for the edit, and stay focused in the heat of battle then I'm your man.

And sadly, the best reel in the world can't tell you any of those things.
